To anyone on the fence about purchasing a yarn ball winder. DO IT. Don’t let anyone try to tell you that you don’t need one of these because you do. Those people don’t love you. I do. Go buy one right now. Really.

Maybe two weeks ago I got the 50% off coupon for the JoAnn’s website, so I thought I would treat myself to a cheap yarn ball winder. My order goes through. Time passes. I get this lame email saying they have cancelled my order for me because my item is backordered, and to make it all better here is a coupon for 15% off my next purchase but I have to use it in the next 5 days.
WTF?
Because I’m a sucker, I’m giving them one more chance; yet another 50% coupon turned up in my inbox this morning. Damn my thrify nature – I’m helpless in the wake of half off coupons… especially when they involve crafty toys… sigh…

My new yarn swift arrived this morning and even though I’m out of my mind sick, I still managed to struggle up and rip open the package like a 3 year old on Christmas morning.
It is beautiful and perfect in every way- and it only cost me about $25.
Thank you theknitstore, for not gouging me with unrealistic prices for a few sticks of wood and a bolt.
